Children with developmental disabilities who belong under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) can avail of Early Intervention from birth until three years old or older. People with cerebral palsy or Down syndrome automatically qualify for the service. In some cases, professionals will seek your permission to evaluate your child to determine if they are eligible for the service and develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). The service, Early Interventions, allows people to access a wide range of medical, therapeutic, and social services, which includes family counseling and parent support groups.

Establishing care after receiving a diagnosis is fundamental in maintaining health and safety for any person with disabilities. We know firsthand how difficult it is to navigate through the path of extensive caregiving and we are highly trained to deliver reliable and effective care for special needs families and individuals. We support all disabilities by enriching lives with support and consistency to help them thrive towards independence and quality of life.

Our goal is to support not only the individuals but also to implement strategies that assist primary caregivers as well.

Gedeon Caring Touch will be happy to arrange home care services that will be ideal for your family members. We first assess their home care needs and create an individualized care plan that will address the specific care requirements related to their disability.
